Printing
I have always had an interest in printmaking, and enjoy the craft and technology, but more impressive are the strong images that can be produced.
I have produced work using most of the printing techniques. At school and at Carmarthen I made silk screen prints. At Aberystwyth I learned something of the art of lithography and hope to do more. I also enjoyed a period of lino block printing and have occasionally produced pleasing mono prints.
Etching
This is the form of printing I use most and have my own press. I have tried multi-plate colour prints but the real challenge is creating strong dark images and these help convey the atmosphere I experience when observing active bats.
